We designed our facility for the hospice patient, their families, and the hospice provider. Family members and other loved ones can spend the night in our large (over 400 sf) private rooms. Each room accesses its own private patio, on which the bed if needed, can be wheeled out so the patient can enjoy the sun on their face or the wind in their hair if desired. Each room is set up like a studio apartment with its own private bath, and a kitchen area with a table and chairs. Also, the beds can be lowered into a “chair” position so if someone can’t get out of bed they can still feel as though they are part of the group and not the subject of the group.
Located directly across the street from IU West Hospital provides convenient and easy access from Indianapolis and all surrounding areas.

Laury Wallace is a part owner as well as the head Nurse Practitioner for Life’s Journey. Bob Wallace is our CEO, handling all of our business and finance. Not only are they constantly working to make sure Life’s Journey is THE best hospice, but they also take their time to make sure the building is beautifully landscaped and decorated for holidays. They are always at the facility making sure the whole operation is running smoothly and all of the patients are comfortable. They are always making memories with the staff and ensuring the patients have every need met.
In their spare time, they raise awareness for important charities and donate items to communities in need during difficult times such as; bringing donated items to communities of Kentucky that were devasted by a tornado in 2021, raising over $800.00 for a family to have Christmas that lost their mother in hospice, donating countless items to senior centers, and much more.
Life’s Journey Hospice provides bedside comfort that goes above and beyond expectations. Music is always filling our rooms and hallways which relaxes our patients and their families giving them a beautiful experience.
